USE:       

 

Owners are intitled to use the property as often as they like, with consultation and consideration other owners. The property is not used frequently currently, maybe 1-2 weekend per month.

Hunting is managed to allow for herd development, however this allows more than enough hunting opportunity for all owners.

STAGE:    

               

The syndicate was established mid 2022. One share is available due to one of the potential owners not be able to complete.

PROPERTY DETAIL:     

 

The block is a 70 Hectare fully deer fenced block that is primarily native bush. It has very good tracks (improved in Jan 2023).  The property is holding Tahr, Fallow, Reds, and Wallaby. The property has been an established game park for over 20 years.

There are three huts on the property all in the same stunning spot. One is complete and usable (doable, bunks, shower and toilet). A smaller hut is due for repair and renovation. The lodge is an approx. 100m2 building that is midway through construction. It is a 2 bedroom, one bathroom building with stunning views. The syndicate owns a side by side and a number of other small assets.

CURRENT OWNERS INTENTIONS:

The current owners (7) are from Timaru, Oamaru and Geraldine. A very good bunch of guys that work well together.

 

The intention of the group is to develop the block (largely complete) and the buildings to provide owners and their friends and family with an epic back country holiday destination. The development is focusing on bringing the buildings to a standard of quality and facility to cater to groups (cooperate retreats, stag parties, etc). While the income from this activity is not the immediate motivation, the facility may start conducting this type of commercial activity nearer the end of the term, to increase the value of the property.

The current owners are reasonably hands on, so there is some requirement to attend working bees from time to time. 

 

The property currently derives some income from holding imported red stags and selling bull thar to outfitters (10-20k).
